Alea Carr

A native of Western Washington, Alea Carr has dedicated her career to supporting and advocating on behalf of our State’s workforce. Inspired by a series of internships at the public defender’s office, the ACLU, and Enterprise Community Partners, Alea knew that she wanted to dedicate her career to protecting and empowering vulnerable people and organizations.

After beginning her professional legal career in 2017, Alea was quickly drawn to employment law where she worked with victims of discrimination and whistleblower retaliation. In this capacity, she gained litigation experience working in both Federal and State Court. In 2019, Alea became part of the Robblee Detwiler team as an associate attorney. Here, she is committed to protecting the rights of working people through steadfast representation of the labor organizations fighting for them. Whether it’s in arbitration, before the National Labor Relations Board, or in State or Federal Court, Alea understands the critical role that labor organizations play in ensuring the proper treatment of working people and is honored to support these efforts.

Alea is a graduate of Western Washington University where she earned a  bachelor’s degree in economics and political science before attending law school at Seattle University. She is a member of the Washington State Bar Association and admitted to practice in Federal Court in both the Eastern District and Western District of Washington. Outside of work Alea enjoys travel, yoga, and walks with her dog.
